Claves
Se evalúa la interacción: reacciona, amplía y pregunta.
No hace falta hablar de las 5 ideas; mejor pocas bien desarrolladas.
Estrategia paso a paso

En la decisión, compara y justifica; no decidas en el primer segundo.

Ejemplo resuelto

B: So which do you think would lead to the most satisfying life abroad? A: I'd go for being closer to family. Whatever else happens, you have people around you who care about you. B: That makes sense. Career opportunities might bring in more money, but if you're lonely it's hard to enjoy it. A: Exactly. And a nice climate or cheaper rent won't compensate for feeling isolated. B: OK, so we agree – being closer to family.
Criterios de corrección
Grammatical Resource: a range of simple and complex structures (conditionals, modals, relative clauses, passives…) used with a good degree of control.
Lexical Resource: a range of appropriate vocabulary, including less common words and idiomatic expressions, to give and exchange views on familiar and unfamiliar topics.
Discourse Management: extended, coherent stretches of language with little hesitation, using a range of cohesive devices and discourse markers (what's more, having said that, as far as … is concerned).
Pronunciation: intelligible throughout, with appropriate intonation, sentence and word stress, and clearly articulated sounds.
Interactive Communication: initiating and responding appropriately, linking contributions to those of the partner, and moving the discussion towards an outcome.
Global Achievement: overall effectiveness in dealing with the task at C1 level.
Explicación
The aim is to negotiate, not to agree immediately. Compare options, justify your preference, respond to objections and make sure a decision is reached (or that you clearly agree to disagree) before time runs out.
Pregunta 2

A: So, which do you think would make the biggest difference? B: For me it has to be flying less. A single long-haul flight can outweigh months of careful energy saving. A: I see your point, but I'm not sure people would actually do it. Repairing things might have less impact per person, but far more people would be willing to try it. B: That's a fair point. But the question is about the biggest difference, not the most popular choice. A: All right, you've convinced me. Let's go for flying less.

Examiner: Now I'd like you to talk about something together for about two minutes. Here are some ideas and a question for you to discuss. Why might people decide to go and live in another country?
Part 3 (Collaborative task, 2 minutes). In the real exam you discuss this with another candidate. Here, talk through the prompts as if you were responding to a partner: give opinions, agree and disagree, and ask for their views.

A: Let's begin with career opportunities. I'd say that's probably the most common reason, especially for people in fields like engineering or medicine. B: Definitely. Some jobs are simply better paid or more highly valued in other countries. What do you think about climate, though? Would anyone really move just for the weather? A: More than you'd think, particularly when they retire. If you've spent forty years in grey drizzle, the idea of sunshine must be very tempting. B: That's true. And learning a language – that's more common among younger people, isn't it? A year abroad can be the fastest way to become fluent. A: Yes, although it's usually a temporary move rather than a permanent one. Being closer to family seems like a very different kind of reason – it's more emotional than practical. B: Right, and a lower cost of living is the opposite: purely financial. Although I wonder whether it's really cheaper once you factor in flights home.

You do not have to discuss every prompt. What matters is a genuine exchange: develop each point, respond to what your partner says ('That's a fair point, but…'), and invite their opinion ('How do you feel about…?').
