Estrategia paso a paso
Ejemplo resuelto

Explicación
Answers: 1 first · 2 had · 3 pedals · 4 riders · 5 the · 6 with · 7 feet · 8 later · 9 added · 10 bicycles.
The story is in the past, so "had" and "added" are past forms. Without pedals, riders "pushed the ground with their feet". "Later" contrasts with "the first models".

Explicación
Answers: 1 many/major · 2 people · 3 borrow · 4 musical · 5 and · 6 cake · 7 with · 8 library · 9 this/that · 10 saves.
Libraries "lend", so people "borrow" (not "lend"). "Musical instruments" and "cake pans" are fixed pairs. "Th__ service" can be "This" or "That", and "saves" needs -s because "service" is singular.

Explicación
Answers: 1 sit/stand · 2 above · 3 hotspot · 4 place · 5 molten · 6 rises · 7 deep · 8 the · 9 as · 10 plate.
"A hot___" is defined right after it ("a place where molten rock rises"), so it is "hotspot", which also appears later in the text. "Molten rock" is melted rock. "As the Pacific plate moves" uses "As" meaning "while"; "plate" is the geology term for a piece of Earth's crust.
